Reviews
State of the art music hall. Excellent acoustics and surprisingly comfortable seating. The only annoyance was that when I bought a bottle of water from the bar, it was taken from the shelf and handed to me. I rather hoped that, as with the other bottles, it would come from the fridge. It did not. I asked for a cold bottle but was abruptly told they did not have any. Come on, it's not that difficult...You're letting yourselves down over something very simple.
View from 1st floor rear seats. Since the hall is not huge, there was no problem enjoying the performance from my seat at all. All staffs were very kind. Only complain was that the line for snack/drink during the intermission was too long. Great sound quality.
Went to see Black Panther. Great seats, a nice glass of wine, and the mood was set.
Took my Son and Granddaughter. It was an excellent way to introduce them to the Orchestra.
The Symphony Hall is great! The staff and the venue are tremendous but parking is horrendous and because Baltimore has all of these bike lanes, traffic is a nightmare. Give yourself plenty of time to arrive. I would suggest you arrive 45 minutes before the show. You will sit in traffic to enter the garage or to exit a garage.
Great venue. Very clean. Decent seating. Parking is close-by, and there is plenty of it. Arrive early. The show starts right on time. Bring a debit/credit card because it is a cash-less venue. No cellphone usage. None once inside the venue. Everyone working there was very courteous, and there were plenty of ushers to help you promptly find your seat(s).
Amazing holiday show led by Byron Stripling and the BSO. Great venue and performance.
Had the pleasure of going to the BSO last night. Couldn't have been a more enjoyable time. Easy access to and from the site.
The Meyerhoff Symphony Hall is a very beautiful building. The orchestra and Broadway singers were so talented. We had such a wonderful evening. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly!
I attended a dance performance by a Cuban company.
The hall is clean and chairs comfortable and the theater arts (dance, concert, lectures) always excellent, and rarely available elsewhere.
ANNENBERG does a good job!
Bonus, ticket discounts for students and West Philly locals insure a more inclusive (by age and color) audience.
